Pryor Legacy Project

William Jewell College's Pryor Class of 2016 has partnered with Urban Christian Academy in the Kansas City urban core for their legacy project this semester. 

The Pryor Leadership Program is a 3-year program that includes an Outward Bound trip, internships, and a legacy project. The class of 2016 is working with Urban Christian Academy to provide them with technology, new playground equipment, and resources for a new 2nd grade classroom.

Urban Christian Academy is an elementary school focused on providing a holistic education where students are exposed to Jesus and are encouraged to become leaders in their community. It was founded a year and a half ago and currently contains a kindergarten and first grade classroom. To ensure that these students continue to receive a quality education, a new classroom will need to be added each year for the next 4 years to make room for a new kindergarten class of scholars.

The students in the Pryor Legacy class are raising money to make this new classroom a reality. They are also raising money for technology, updated playground equipment, an updated library, field trips, and curriculum. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below:
